About Our Team and Our Process

Many of the people on our team have been with us since the beginning of Houser Custom Homes. They have helped us grow and we are very grateful to them for this. They are a group of skilled craftsmen with many years of experience. We strive to keep a positive working environment with our team. A positive environment produces great results. We believe in treating everyone with respect, fairness and dignity.

David Houser has lived and worked in the San Antonio area for over 30 years. His career began in remodeling in 1992 and for over ten years he built quality custom homes in the San Antonio and the surrounding Texas hill country. David has hands-on experience in several different areas of construction allowing him to effectively relate to his team of subcontractors.

David attended The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and will soon be certified as a Master Builder. David believes in giving back to the community through his knowledge and his services. He is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and is always willing to lend a hand to charities in need. He has also taught continuing education classes on remodeling through the North East Independent School District. David is involved in a number of organizations such as the Bulverde/Spring Brand Chamber of Commerce, The Bulverde Leadership, GSABA and CBUSA.

David has been married since 1995 to Tina Houser, owner of Central Physician Solutions. Together they are the proud parents of two children. When not working, Dave Houser is very active in his family life and enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He has coached little league for several years as well as YMCA basketball. David brings his family values to every project that he works on.

David Garza has worked with Houser Custom Homes since 2006. His experience in the construction business began in 1988 and he has extensive experience in both commercial and residential construction. His attention to detail and customer service is exceptional and is a valuable asset to Houser Custom Homes. Our clients find him to be very helpful and easy to work with during the building process. His goal is to visit every jobsite at least once a day. As homes get close to the completion stage he devotes more time and attention to ensure quality and detail.
